School accounts may be created by school administrators or as part of student and parent onboarding. When an account requires activation, use the time-limited setup link sent to its registered email address.
Before you begin
- You need access to the email address registered for your account.
Use your own role account, then confirm the expected school and role appear.
-
Open the correct school portal
Use the portal address given by the school. Branded school domains, when configured, still route to the same school account and permissions.
-
Activate a new account
Open the setup email on a trusted device, follow the secure link before it expires, and create a password when prompted. Do not forward the setup link.
-
Sign in
Enter the email and password for your own role account. Students and parents should not use a staff account.
-
Recover access
Use the Forgot Password option and follow the recovery email. If the email is not received, check the address on record and ask the school administrator to confirm the account status.
Treat an account setup or password reset link like a temporary password.
Account safety
- Use a unique password and do not share it with family members or colleagues.
- Never send a password, one-time code, setup token, or recovery link to support by email.
- Sign out on shared computers and report an account you believe has been used by someone else.
Parent and student access
A parent’s account is separate from a student’s account. Assigning a parent to a student does not disclose the student’s password or make the parent a staff user.
A student or parent who cannot sign in should contact the school office to confirm the registered email and account activation state.
Administrator-initiated password resets
An authorized administrator can use the reset action on the appropriate employee, teacher, or student record. A signed-in user can also request a reset from the profile menu. After confirmation, the portal sends a time-limited, single-use password setup link directly by email. The email does not contain a password; the recipient chooses a new password on the secure portal page. The link is valid for 24 hours.
A teacher can reset the account password even before accepting an employment contract; contract acceptance does not block password recovery. The portal shows a concise error if it cannot send the email instead of exposing raw server output. If the email does not arrive, check spam, confirm the registered address and mailbox are active, and ask the school email administrator to check provider delivery status.
